If you have recently driven though Silver Lake Village, or have skied Bald Mountain at Deer Valley, most likely you have now noticed a tall concrete structure between Stein Eriksen Lodge and the Goldener Hirsch Inn. The construction for the new Residences at Goldener Hirsch is moving along well and now that we are about five months in, the first of two elevator/stairway towers has been completed. The tower reaches all 5 levels of the building, plus provides access to the 6th level, which is the roof top pool – a very unique feature for this new luxury hotel property.
Other activities include pouring of the foundation walls, additional rebar installation, and completion of site excavation at the north end of the property. Okland’s crews will continue to pour the west foundation walls, and will start forming the north elevator/stairway tower. As foundation walls continue to rise at the south building, footings will begin for the north building.
